In the eastern network on Rhodes operated by KTEL Rodou there is a special concept for line numbering. Almost all route numbers are generally used to designate a single direction only rather than serving as fixed identifiers for a specific route. They function primarily more like navigational destination codes for a particular location, e.g. in the direction of Rhodes, all lines — regardless of their starting point —
are signed as "15 Rhodes" (possibly with letter suffixes).

The letter suffixes indicate whether deviations from the standard route or spur trips branching off the main Rhodes–Lindos road (EO95) are being served.

Consequently in most cases, it's not possible to determine the actual starting point of a trip, as this is irrelevant to tourists.
