I am not sure, but I have seen in Riga similar route signs as this one.. I wasn't close, but it was white with yellow and bigger than old one. Maybe now its "Saldus" not "Kalnciems", through they still want to put Kalnciems in everywhere (it should not be there at all). :)

This is only because that is the closest village to the road A9 when it passes.
They can't name it Liepāja-Rīga Ekspresis, because both, straight and one, which goes through jelgava, stops in Saldus, and there is noothing else to mention, that bus is going on the upper road, while Liepāja-Saldus-Jelgava-Rīga goes by the bottom one.

Well, in that case, looks like they're changing. Actually, as mentioned above, can't wait to find out all answers to all questions we have here :)

Well yes, but even their marketing man Uldis has said to my friend there should not be any Kalnciems in timetables (like autoosta.lv) - it has left on bus signs from old times. And I have heard people talking - Kalnciems, what is that?

Nordeka use Saldus, even LAP does, but just for 1 route. :D

They used to put Saldus on the electronic sign of MAN and 8700, but was shocked when saw Kalnciems for new Rumba Tours MBs.
