if the chassis is Volvo B7RLE, then is not the vehicle Volvo 8700LE ? I can't tell from the photo if the vehicle is low floor or not.

It's 8700 / B7R. LE (low entry) vehicles look more like city buses rather suburban/interurban. We have great examples of 8700LE in Liepaja :).

oh I'll have to look at my photos more carefully - and alter my records ! I think the Liepaja ones are the only 8700LE in Latvia ?

Martin, Valmiera has two 8700LE working on Valmiera's city route. Numbers are 4565 (GE-8700) and 4750 (GV-8700). I have made pics from both of them on our Cesis-Valmiera trip in 2009.

Oops ! Never spotted that before. I will have to check photos, as you evidently can't tell from the VIN ...
