The easternmost part of Madrid Metro Line 7 - the so-called MetroEste (or Line 7B) -
has been out of service since 2022 due to very serious damage to the route that opened in 2008. The tunnel sank by a few meters in several places
due to water intrusion. Even some houses above the tunnel had to be demolished. Since the problems had occurred several times before and could not be resolved, the finally closure of MetroEste has already been discussed...
There is currently only a shuttle service with one train between Estadio Metropolitano and the neighboring Barrio del Puerto station.
On the remaining section of the route there is a permanent bus replacement service SE7, which is served by Monbus with Citaro C2
that were formerly used in Lugo and some Isuzu Citiport 12 that previously operated in Barcelona at the subsidiary UTE Monbus-Julia on behalf of ATB.
As feeders to train stations, two additional replacement lines SE71 and SE72 are served by vehicles from CRTM regional transport.
