They are popular in Belgium too ;-)
Are your Van Hool buses used on urban or inter-urban routes ?

They are used only on urban routes. They are very popular, because they are fast, silent and spacious than other russian buses.

I was there on that day. Bus 2237 (one number down) will be preserved. This was also the last one of these buses to go out of service in June 2009, after more than 21 years. The first of these (2100) appeared on Belgian roads late 1985.
