It was introduced in October 1984 as a semi-highway version of the first generation BH series. Although it was a downsized version of the 120S with a D2156HM engine from the BV113Q, front-engine buses such as the Daewoo BF101 and Hyundai FB485 were also used as tourist buses, so people preferred leaf springs in the 11.5m class or lower, and the 11.

The sales of the 11.5-meter Air Suss buses were dominated by the Dong-A HA30, which was introduced first, and eventually discontinued in October 1986 after only two years, passing the baton to the all-new 115H.
